Families of Westeros: House Baratheon

House Baratheon's sigil is a black stag on a gold background. Usually seen with a crown since Robert became King.

Where are they now?
- Robert Baratheon died in the first season during a hunting accident where a boar pierced him with it's tusk after he missed his shot at him. He was very drunk due to the very strong wine Lancel had been serving him as instructed by Queen Cersei.
- Cersei Baratheon/Lannister still in Kings Landing ruling as Queen regent until Joffrey comes of age. She's basically reeking havoc in my opinion, with the help of Joffrey
- Joffrey Baratheon, now King Joffrey, will not lawfully be King until his 16th name day however he does still give orders and he is the one who ordered Eddard Stark to be be-headed.
Myrcella Baratheon was sent to Dorne by Tyrion Lannister to marry Trystane Martell, the youngest child of the current ruler of Dorne.
- Tommen Baratheon still in Queens landing.
- Gendry is with Arya Stark and has escaped Winterfell, he was being sent to the wall with Yoren by Eddard Stark. This is because he was one of Robert's bastard children that only Jon Arryn, Stannis Baratheon and Eddard knew about. He was being sent away because Cersei sent out an order that all his bastard children be killed so that nobody could endanger Joffrey's claim to the throne, which is not rightfully his because he is Cersei and Jaime's child born of incest. As are Myrcella and Tommen
- Stannis Baratheon, when last we saw Stannis Baratheon he had been captured after the battle of blackwater. We have not yet met his daughter Shireen.
- Renly Baratheon, was murdered by a dark shadow sent by the red priestess that is under Stannis Baratheon's service.
- Margaery Tyrell, Renly's widow and now betrothed to wed King Joffrey.
- Peter Baelish, Grand Maester Pycelle, most of those who followed in the list above still remain in Kings landing and serve King Joffrey.
Except for:
Ser Barristan Selmy who was released of his duties of Lord Commander of the Kingsguard, by King Joffrey. His location afterwards is unknown,
Janos Slynt who was sent to the wall by Tyrion Lannister.
Jaime Lannister was taken captive by Robb Stark in the Riverlands, is now being sent to Kings landing by Catelyn Stark in exchange for Sansa (and Arya who they think is still in Kings landing) under the watchful eye of Brienne of Tarth.

Will this royal family withstand the War of the Five Kings?
